Summer 1999 – Greg Koch (Drums) and Chris Williams (Bass) meet when hired to fill in at Ben Wah’s Thurs. Night Open Jam @ Castillions, Both join Ben’s band
9/27/1999 – Archer’s contacts Ben Wah and the Blue Balls in hopes to lure the Thursday Night Jam to Archer’s – Thursday Night Jam is moved to Archer’s
11/14/1999 – Joy Jackson (Singer) and Dave Edsall (Guitar) show up at the Thursday Night Jam & Experience good chemistry with Chris and Greg on stage.
1/17/2000 – After several months jamming at the Thursday Night Jam, Joy Jackson, Dave Edsall, Chris Williams and Greg Koch get together for first rehearsal.
1/26/2000 – Greg comes up with the band name 69 Times while watching a Sports Century special about Wayne Gretzky and pitches it to the band. They like it
2/11/2000 - 69 Times plays first gig @ Archer’s with original 69 Times members Joy Jackson, Greg Koch, Dave Edsall and Chris Williams
3/08/2000 – Joy singing and Chris Williams playing Acoustic guitar, the two play first as gig as Acoustic duo known as “Pride and Joy” @ Diamond’s
4/04/2000 – Joy’s voice is heard, Archer’s asks her to sing a radio Jingle, she also creates the successful Archer’s “Roxy” radio ad campaign
5/11/2000 – Archer’s management relieves Ben Wah of his duties as Thursday Night Jam host and asks Chris and Greg to continue Jam without him
5/18/2000 – 69 Times Rhythm section, Chris & Greg aka the Thunder Brothers begin hosting the Thursday Night Jam playing with many featured guest performers
7/29/2000 – Chris and Greg play last gig with Ben Wah and the Blue Balls @ Windjammer
9/04/2000 - Joy Jackson and Chris Williams, begin to host an Acoustic Open Stage on Sunday Nights @ Archer’s.
9/22/2000 – 69 Times Bassist Chris Williams and his wife Pam have baby boy named John Joseph Williams
12/31/2000 – 69 Times rings in New Year on New Years Eve @ the Colorado Feed & Grain in front of a packed house
2/12/2001 – Joy hands out tapes of original song ideas to Dave Edsall, John Kintzley, Chris Jackowski and Greg Koch in hopes of a possible recording project
2/22/2001- 69 Times plays Live on the Radio to promote Murder Mystery Party @ the Stanley Hotel - Armed with a Voice, Tambourine & an Acoustic Guitar - Joy, Greg & Dave, Rock the Airwaves
4/29/2001 – On the train at DIA. Greg runs into former band mate Bassist Eric Teman from the LA band, Psyclone Sound, - Eric moved to Denver from LA in 1993
5/31/2001 – The Thunder Brothers Thursday Night Jam becomes Archer’s biggest night, in attendance and sales, even bigger than the weekends
6/07/2001 – Joy is hired by Clear Channel Northern Colorado to host the Sunday night radio show “Colorado Music Showcase” on 107.9 FM (10pm to 11pm)
6/30/2001- Bassist Chris Williams announces that he is leaving the band and moving the family to Cortez Colorado in September
7/12/2001 – Billed as Joy Jackson & Friends: Joy and Greg host 1st of many Acoustic Jams on the back patio at Hickory House South. Everybody loves it!
7/26/2001 – Thunder Brothers Chris and Greg, host final Thursday Night Jam after a 2 year run, a combined total of over100 Thursday’s in row. (Except 2 Thanksgiving’s)
7/29/2001 – Greg sits in on drums with the band Union Break @ Mishawaka amphitheatre for Sunday afternoon show - opened for Blind Dog Smokin
8/01/2001 – Joy becomes “Entertainment Director” and a regular guest on the Steve Cooper Radio Broadcast on 107.9FM the Bear - Show airs every Friday morning (6am to 9am)
8/24/2001 – 69 Times plays last gig @ Lonigan’s with original band members Bassist Chris Williams and Guitarist Dave Edsall and the band is temporarily defuct
8/27/2001 – Being asked to open for Dave Mason @ the Rialto Theatre (9/27) & with no band, Joy and Greg call in friends, John Kintzley (B) & Chris Jackowski (G) of Union Break to form the Joy Jackson Acoustic band
8/30/2001 – Looking to continue as 69 Times, Joy & Greg seek out Master Guitarist Danny Masters @ Herman’s Hideaway. Joy used to play in band with Danny. (He is interested but has prior commitments that would delay the start of rehearsals)
9/01/2001 - Greg calls former Bass player Eric Teman to see if he is interested in playing bass in 69 Times (He is interested but has prior commitments)
9/27/2001 – Prepared to play a set of originals as Joy Jackson Acoustic band - the Dave Mason Show is postponed until 12/7 (Joy, Greg, Chris & Johnny are bummed!)
10/11/2001 – 69 Times: Joy and Greg’s 1st rehearsal with new band members Guitarist Danny Masters and Bassist Eric Teman goes well
10/18/2001- 69 Times plays 1st gig with new lineup, Guitarist Danny Masters and Bass Player Eric Teman @ the Soiled Dove in Denver
11/15/2001 – To help finish a handful of pre-booked gigs, Greg joins the Danny Masters Band (DMB) and meets bassist Ricky Kashmir & guitarist Jeff Banach
12/7/2001 – Due to reasons beyond our control the Dave Mason show it is postponed again until 3/1 - Joy, Greg, Chris & Johnny are Bummed once again!!!
12/31/2001 – 69 Times continues to Rock & Rings in New Year with a crazy night @ OD’s Sports Arena – Wendy Woo was also on the bill
2/16/2002 – Bassist Eric Teman announces that wife Lisa is pregnant with their first child and will need to take time off from the band
3/01/2002 – Finally the Dave Mason show @ the Rialto Theatre goes off, the sold out crowd loves Joy Jackson’s opening set – Thanks, Chris J and Johnny K
3/08/2002 – Jeff Banach of the Danny Masters Band sits in with 69 Times on 2nd guitar and keys, it brings a new element to the band. He is asked to join the band.
3/29/2002 – 69 Times plays to over a 1000 people @ the Lincoln Center for the CSU Vet School Sponsored, March Brew HA HA
4/04/2002 – Eric Teman asks Danny Masters Band Bass Player Ricky Kasmir to play the summer gigs with 69 Times in anticipation of the birth of his baby girl
4/13/2002 – Danny Masters announces that he is leaving the Danny Masters Band & 69 Times and suggests whiz kid Guitarist Tyler Hughes as his replacement
4/18/2002 – Greg, Ricky and Jeff play last gig with the Danny Masters Band @ Herman’s Hideaway w/ Dave Beegle’s Fourth Estate (Recorded Live)
5/03/2002 – 69 Times plays 1st gig @ the Duke of Windsor with new line up: Guitarist Tyler Hughes, Jeff Banach Guitar & Keys and Bass Player Ricky Kasmir
5/23/2002 –Joy Jackson & Friends: kick off summer # 2, once a month on the back patio @ Hickory House South - Jamming with our friends. It is a Blast for all.
6/1/2002 – 69 Times is paraded around on a float in Berthoud Days Parade – Float overheats in middle of parade leaving the band stranded for a short time
6/30/2002 – Greg Tee’s it up w/ former Chicago Bears QB - Jim McMahon, Charlie Brusco (Styx Mgr) & Morris Beegle (Hapi Skratch Records) & Ken Rivera (Easy Street Concerts) in the John Elway Celebrity Golf Classic (Thanks Ken)
7/4/2002 – 69 Times headlines the Taste of Windsor Festival – Joy swallows a bug a pukes in front of fans just prior to singing the National Anthem
7/15/2002 – Former Bass Player Eric Teman sits in with 69 Times at Aqua Spas company party. Baby Girl “Shane” keeps Eric and Lisa busy
7/27/2002 – Danny Masters Band reunites & plays Gonzo Screen Printing’s “Big Ass Party” w/ Full Circle & ex 69 Times guitarist Dave Edsall’s new band Zoinx
7/30/2002 – 69 Times plays @ Old Town Square in Fort Collins for 2002 Brewers Festival w/ Mission 19 and Love.45
8/01/2002 – Launch of the 69 Times website (www.69TimesMusic.com) (Thanks Ernie and Alex)
8/24/2002 – 69 Times opens concert for Creedence Clearwater Revisited / Lewis and Floorwax & the Groove Hawg’s @ Thunderfest 2002 (8000 people)
10/18/2002 – 69 Times plays a packed house @ the Buffalo Rose in Golden. It’s a small world, Joy used to work for Murray, the new owner of the Buff.
11/26/2002 – It turns out to be a rough start when production & recording for Joy Jackson’s demo begin @ Morning Wood Studios (Greg’s not Happy)
1/19/2003 – In support of Local Live Music, Joy Jackson brings the Colorado Music Showcase Live to air Live on the 3rd Sunday of every month on 107.9 FM the Bear (10pm to 11pm)
1/31/2003 – 69 Times opens show for Lewis & Floorwax and Groove Hawgs @ White Buffalo (Danny Masters fills in for Jeff)(Greg sits in with the Groove Hawgs)
2/09/2003 – Plans are set to re-record the Joy Jackson Project at the newly renovated Morning Wood Studio’s. Tracks to be produced by Greg
2/21/2003 – 69 Times Bass Player Ricky Kasmir is interviewed by 9 News – “Rhode Island Nightclub Fire” claims former Vendetta band mate, Great White Guitarist, Ty Longley (RIP)
2/25/2003 – 69 Times plays the legendary Little Bear in Evergreen during the biggest blizzard of the year (20 People including the staff)
3/01/2003 – Joy Jackson sports the cover of the March issue of the Scene Magazine and looks great doing it.
3/11/2003 – Starting over on the Joy Jackson Project, Greg as Producer & working with Engineer Hugo Russell, Johnny & Greg re-lay Bass and Drum tracks for Joy’s upcoming studio release. (Thanks for the drum kit, Dean)
4/05/2003 –Due to Lightning, Power outage sends 69 Times and a full house @ the Buffalo Rose home early - Greg plays 20 minute Drum Solo in the dark. (Thanks to however held the Flash Light during Load Out)
4/25/2003 – Hosted by 107.9FM the Bear – the Rocky Mountain Bear Bash at Mary’s Lake Lodge is a success. Entertainment by 69 Times
5/10/2003 – Out of Bounds has 69 Times in for the first time and the band sets both Attendance and Sales Record
5/15/2003 – Hickory House South welcomes Joy Jackson & Friends back for the 3rd annual summer of fun.
5/23/2003 – For a little extra $$, Joy Jackson and Chris Jackowski begin to gig as an Acoustic Duo at Mary’s Lake Lodge
6/06/2003 – 69 Times opens up show for 80’s super group – LOVERBOY
6/30/2003 – After many delays beyond our control, Tracking of Guitars for Joy’s project continues. Sure sounds good @ Morning Wood!!!
7/04/2003 – The Band “69 Times” plays Awesome 4th of July Party in Estes Park – (Thank You, Jim and Martha)
7/05/2003 – 69 Times: Rocks the White Buffalo in Loveland as headliner (1st Time Headlining the Buff)
7/06/2003 – Rockin’ Acoustic performance by 69 Times helps raise money to benefit the Estes Park Fire Fighters at the Inferno Ball at Mary’s Lake Lodge
7/10/2003 – 69 Times opens show for original member of the Beatles – Original Beatle Drummer, Pete Best (Not the Best!!!)
7/28/2003 – The Power Outage make up gig @ the Buffalo Rose Rocks as 69 Times plays to an enthusiastic crowd in Golden (Thanks Deck)
8/07/2003 – Joy Jackson & Friends plays for the last time on the patio @ Hickory House South – Hickory House was Sold - Thanks to everyone that joined us @ the Hick jams. You made it a blast!
8/22/2003 – 69 Times plays @ ThunderFest 2003 with Foghat / Blue Oyster Cult / Marshall Tucker Band / Groove Hawgs (Greg had West Nile Virus)
8/29/2003 – Opening night of marathon gig weekend at the Duke of Windsor – 69 Times plays 3 gigs in 24 hours (1st of 3 - 9pm to 1am)
8/30/2003 – 69 Times plays to standing room only @ the Duke of Windsor in honor of Harvest Festival (3rd gig - 9pm to 1am)
8/30/2003 – UNC Football team kicks off the UNC Tailgate Party Concert Series with Rock Band - 69 Times (2nd of 3 - 10am to 1pm)
9/11/2003 – Greg Tee’s it up again in the John Elway Celebrity Golf Classic w/ Ken Rivera, Simon Kirke (Bad Co.) Mike Reno (Loverboy) & John Ashton (Actor)
9/20/2003 – After not touching the project for months, several sessions of tracking on the Joy Jackson Project begin again (Tracking of more Guitars, Keys & Vocals)
10/03/2003 – 69 Times Opens another show for the Masters (them) Lewis & Floorwax and the Groove Hawgs – Wax was ill!!!
10/15/2003 – Joy, Greg on the Econo Kit and Chris Jackowski on Acoustic Guitar play gig as the Joy Jackson Acoustic Band @ Lucky Joe’s in Old Town (Tyler Sits in on 2nd Acoustic)

12/14/2003 – To the Benefit of Sam Recen, 69 Times (Actually the JJAB) Jam with the Brian Hornbuckle Band to honor Sam @ Lonigan’s in Estes Park
12/23/2003 – A visit from the Jackson’s at Christmas, result in completed Back Up-Vocal Tracks for Joy’s upcoming release. Joy’s Brother Jimi and Greg, Sing it sweet in the studio
12/31/2003 – Everybody has a total blast ringing in the New Year with 69 Times on New Year Eve @ the County Cork. (Thanks to all for another Great year)
